More ACH Act “Education Workshops” Announced

The WA Government has announced another lot of educational workshops around WA that “provide an overview of the Act, along with guidelines and regulations”. The Aboriginal Cultural Heritage Act was proclaimed on the 1st of July 2023 and is “the State’s legislative instrument for the protection of Aboriginal Cultural Heritage.” There is still a lot of confusion and frustration around the act, in response to this, the governement has announced more dates of their education workshops, whether they are much help or not.

31st July 2023 - Waroona - Memorial Hall

2nd August 2023 - Carnamah - Carnamah Town Hall

8th August 2023 - Busselton - City Administration Centre

10th August 2023 - Carnarvon - Camel Lane Theatre

14th August 2023 - Lake Grace - Lake Grace Pavillion

15th August 2023 - Dalwallinu - Recreation Centre
