Boost Your Farming Business: Strategic Grain Marketing Workshops

GrainGrowers and Market Check have partnered up to bring three half day workshops to WA as part of their tour across five states.

27th June 2023 - Dalwallinu - 8:30am - 2:00pm

28th June 2023 - Kellerberin - 8:30am - 2:00pm

29th June 2023 - Cranbrook - 8:30am - 2:00pm

Register via the GrainGrowers website by the 26th June 2023. These workshops are free for all Australian grain growers.

EVENT DETAILS

GrainGrowers, the national farmer advocacy group have teamed up with Market Check "professionals in research and analysis" to offer half-day workshops across 5 states, including three WA towns- Dalwallinu, Kellerberin and Cranbrook. 

According to GrainGrowers these workshops will educate you on: 

  • Understanding risks and opportunities 

  • State of the grain market 

  • Level up your contracts knowledge 

  • Explore market trends 

Participants in the free workshops will also be given resources to take away with them. Lunch and refreshments will be supplied, as well as notepads and pens, but bring a calculator.

PRESENTER DETAILS

Tom Basnett : "Tom is one of Australia’s foremost grain marketing analysts and advisors and has been a key player at Market Check since 2004, and integral to the company’s growth." 

Nick Crundall : "Nick has previously worked for CHS in establishing a footprint in the Australian domestic market and successfully managed the Agfarm & CHS Pools. Nick is responsible for developing strategic guidance for Market Check’s members and for the execution for its managed programs." 

Richard Perkins : "Richard has experience in both domestic and international grain markets working for various trading houses before joining Market Check in 2016. He now oversees the grower advisory services at Market Check, business development and is a non-Executive director of Grain Trade Australia."
