FOR SALE: Project Jaal

Almost 43,000 hectares of land across WA and Victoria have hit the market. 

Project Jaal is a broadacre cropping and livestock operation with 26,834 hectares in WA and a further 16,097 in Victoria. 

In WA, the business is currently growing wheat, barley and canola and has the capability of producing up to 85,000 tonnes of grain annually. In addition to this, the WA sites have a 900-head Angus stud, a 2000-head commercial cattle herd and a 10,000 sheep, lamb and wool enterprise. 

Over in Victoria, the holding is the current largest contiguous holding in the state. It is currently growing wheat, oats, lentils, lupins, vetch, chickpeas and canola, with the capability of in excess of 60,000 tonnes annually. 

The property is being sold on a sale-and-leaseback basis by an unnamed WA business. The sale is represented by selling agent LAWD and accounting firm PwC.
